FOG Black 17U Men win gold medal and National Championship banner at 2019 Volleyball Nationals in Toronto, ON on May 9-14, 2019.

Congratulations to U15 FOG boys Jack Semonis and Spencer Foxcroft for winning the 2019 Junior High Provincial Beach Championship.

HEAD COACH - Arielle Gansan

This is Arielle's first-year coaching under FOG.   She started playing volleyball in grade 7 at St. Hilda Junior High with the FOG Hawks from 2010-2013 and continued to play throughout high school for Holy Trinity.  Arielle has been an assistant coach for the Fog Hawks with George Gibney as her mentor coach for the last 2 years. 

Arielle is excited to be working with the players and their parents this year along with the other coaches!  Her goal as a coach is to make sure the players are enjoying themselves and having fun but to also push them to their full potential to see them grow through the years on and off the court.  She can’t wait to share with the athletes her experience and love she has for the sport. 

Assistant Coach - Trecito Gansan

This is his first-year coaching under FOG.  Trecito started playing volleyball in Grade 8 till Grade 12. He played two years of club volleyball under FOG (U16/U17). He then took a year off after high school where he then head coached the Junior volleyball team of Holy Trinity reaching city finals. He went on to play his first year of post-secondary volleyball at Olds College (2015-2016) before transferring to Concordia University of Edmonton where he is now in his 4th year. 

His goal as a coach for this year is to help develop our players and at the same time have fun!

Assistant Coach - Kevin Luna

This will be Kevin's first year coaching volleyball. He has been playing volleyball since starting out in Junior High and played all throughout high school. Currently, Kevin is a Student Personal Fitness Trainer and in his last year at NAIT.   He is very excited to help the players develop and play to their fullest potential. 

Kevin is also very excited for this season,  his goal as a coach is not only develop their skills in volleyball but also their physical performance and condition on court.
