    FOG Red captured the 2025 Provincials Division 4 championship in Calgary on May 3-4, 2025.

    After topping Pool D in round-robin play, FOG Red carried their momentum into the playoffs. They swept Dome Defenders Green in the first round, 25-14, 25-14, before overpowering the Wolverines in the quarterfinals, 25-3, 25-13.

    The semifinals against the Barrhead Knights proved challenging, as FOG Red had to rally after a slow start, ultimately winning in three sets, 13-25, 25-8, 15-4.

    In a thrilling final against the Beaverlodge Rebels, FOG Red showed their grit and teamwork, securing the championship with a hard-fought 15-25, 26-24, 16-14 victory.

    FOG White claimed gold at the 2025 Provincials in Division 3 (Blue) in Edmonton on May 3-4, 2025. 

    After finishing second in their round-robin pool, FOG White earned a first-round playoff bye. They then took on Sharks 16 in the quarterfinals, winning a tight three-set match, 25-15, 21-25, 15-8. In the semifinals, they dominated NBCVC Ice in straight sets, 25-10, 25-19.

    The finals against Velocity were a thrilling, hard-fought battle, with FOG White emerging victorious in two intense sets, 33-31, 28-26, to secure the championship.

    FOG Gold 18U Boys Earn Silver at Provincials

    FOG Gold had a strong showing at Provincials in Red Deer, AB, on May 3-4, 2025. They went undefeated in pool play, winning hard-fought 3-set matches against LVC Kodiaks (25-13, 15-25, 15-12) and CanWest Black (21-25, 25-22, 15-13).

    In playoffs, they swept LVC White 2-0 (25-15, 25-21) in the first round and defeated the Nooks in straight sets (25-23, 25-20) in the quarter-finals. FOG Gold then took down CanWest Black again in the semis, this time in two sets (25-17, 25-23).

    In the finals, they battled NAVC Griffins in a tight 3-set match, ultimately earning the silver medal (25-13, 20-25, 15-12).

    Kai Boettcher and Ben Weiss shined at the tournament, earning Division 1 All-Star honors for their standout performances.

    They started as a group at the beginning of the year – a new team, facing new challenges. They endured tough moments, celebrated their wins, learned from their losses, and kept growing. Through it all, their grit, determination, and commitment to sportsmanship never wavered. All the hard work paid off with a silver medal in Division 1 at provincials. They are proud of how far they've come.
