Congratulations to FOG Red U17 girls for winning silver in division two at provincial championships this past weekend April 20-21, 2024 in Calgary.

The FOG Red team finished 2nd in round-robin pool play losing out to Rattlers Gold, who finished 1st in the pool. 

In the cross-over playoff game, FOG Red defeated the Sharks and ended up facing FOG Black in the next match.  After defeating the fellow FOG team, they went on to beat the NAVC Griffins to advance to the gold medal match.  

In the Division 2 Gold medal game, they ended up battling Rattlers Gold again, from the previous pool play.  They lost out to the Rattlers but took home a well-deserved silver medal for their troubles.  Ava Ashcroft and Raffi Traub were named All-Stars at Division 2 Provicincials. 

Congratulations girls!!  Now get ready for Nationals.
