The FOG Black 17U Men’s Volleyball Team performed fantastically at Premier 1 this past weekend.

After finishing the first day with a perfect 4-0 record without dropping a set, they secured a spot in the top eight.

Day two began with a hard-fought victory over the Nooks U18 team in the quarterfinals, followed by a thrilling, well-earned win against the NAVC U18 team in the semifinals. The intensity of these two battles took a toll on their energy levels, affecting their final performance. However, they did not lose the gold—they earned the silver, and there is a clear distinction between them. Their achievements and how they competed marked a refreshing shift in the current volleyball landscape.

The team displayed exceptional skill, maintained belief in themselves when few others did, and executed their game plan flawlessly. Moving forward, they will continue working hard and enjoying their journey.
