LITTLE FOGGERS - Atomic Volleyball Under 12 Program

The philosophy of this program is to provide young players the best way to learn to play the game of volleyball in a fun, participation-based and non-competitive environment.

This is a introductory volleyball program designed for players 11-12 years old. Exceptions will be made for players aged 10, depending on the numbers participating in the program/sessions.  The program is designed for players new to the sport and for those who have some (limited) experience.

The main focus of this group is to learn basic skills and the game of volleyball in a positive and fun environment. This is ideal for beginners and other players to upgrade their skills for next years school or club (U13) team.

The technical information about the game of volleyball and the skills required to play the sport are provided by qualified coach(s).  Each player learns at his/her own rate.  There are drills for players of all levels and accomondations made for the novice player.  By the end of the program, players will have a better understanding of the game and advance their skills for their next level of play:  school or club teams.

The focus is on participation versus competition!

Sessions

The sessions occur once per week running from January to late April or early May. Each session ranges from 1.5 to 2 hours with approximately 10-12 sessions withing this period.

Players must bring appropriate volleyball equipment:  shoes, and kneepads.

Location

The location of all the practices are located throughout the city.  Unfortunately, FOG's Little Fogger's schedule is determined by available gyms and coach's availability.
