Fog U13 boys dominate the first AVA U13 premier tournament in Calgary
The U13 boys Fog Black team coached by Oliver Semonis and Marko Grgic and the Fog Red team coached by Boris Luc and Kelly Rosnau dominated the opposition in Calgary on Feb 25 and 26 winning the gold and silver medals in the first AVA U13 premier tournament. In the all-FOG final, FOG Black won 2-1 in a spirited match. Congratulations to both teams.

Fog Fury 15U Girls took 1st place, in Division 2, at the Volleyball Alberta Premier #1 North competition, in Edmonton, on the weekend of February 11-12, 2017. The Fog Fury 15U Girls team, proudly coached by Corey Boelee, Justin Weinkauf and Tina Hjelm, celebrated an exciting win in the VA Premier I, Division 2 Final. FOG Fury won the final match 2-1.

The Fog Black U18 men coached by Jordan Taylor, Andrew Bots and Tyler Lundgren won the silver medal at the third AVA premier tournament in Calgary on March 25h and 26th. Congratulations.

 
U13 boys dominate second AVA premier Again

The U13 boys Fog black team coached by Olliver Semonis and Kelly Rosnau dominated the second AVA premier event in Edmonton on March 18-19 going undefeated and winning the gold against Canuck 2-0 in the final. The Fog Red team coached by Boris Luc won the bronze medal. Congratulations to both teams.

The U15 Fog Gold team coached by Dale Oleschko captured Silver in Premier #2 in Calgary on March 11-12 while the Fog Fusion U15 girls coached by Tim Konkolus won a Bronze medal. Congratulations.

The Fog Black U15 boys coached by Jace Barros and Kyle Erickson won the gold medal against Canuck Black in the second AVA premier in Red Deer March 11-12. The team went undefeated losing only one set the whole tournament. Congratulations.

 
FOG Thunder Brings Home BRONZE in Tony Spirit Tournament

Our ladies enjoyed an afternoon lunch and 3 main events consisting of;

  • The Hardest Hitter, (radar gun tested)
  • The 3 best Passers (97 km ball machine)
  • Highest jumper on Your team.

Our Thunder ladies had Fun, Socialized, and Competed all day long against some very good U17 Woman's Volleyball Competition. What a Great day for Volleyball and a Beautiful event."

Fog night

Fog night at the University of Alberta on Saturday January 28 was attended by over 300 Fog players and coaches and they were treated to some great volleyball as the Golden Bears and Pandas played the Trinity Western Spartans both of which teams featured many players who developed in the Fog system. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Fog scholarship awards. Thanks to Michelle Whyte for organizng a wonderful event.
